This was a cool Rasta guy we met. He said that he always wanted to be a model, soooo, he became our model. haha.

My friend Sarah and I wanted to practice some night photography, so we decided to go to South Beach. We brought Kristin to be our model. It was so much fun! We met some random people and I learned tons more about my camera!

Oregon-Trek to Mount Hood

I went to Oregon in July to visit my friend Rebecca. I miss her so much and enjoyed the time I was able to spend with her. I wish I could've gotten to know her husband more, he was on a business trip, but I will have plenty of time when they move back ;) We went to Mount Hood and I got to wear shorts and flipflops, and stand bare foot in the snow! We picked lavender, cherries and went to the rose gardens in Portland. One of my favorite parts of the whole trip was going to the Saturday Market. This place was unbelievably unique. Great spot to do candids.

Soooo....As my first official "It's all about the photog" blog entry, I am pleased to say that this was easier than I expected. Alot easier than editing pictures! heh This year I rediscovered a hobby of mine, which was dormant for about 8 years. I bought myself a Nikon D40 and have been enjoying using it as my "creative" outlet in the midst of working and more work. A bit more about me-I love Jesus, my savior and friend, I am a teacher, and I love to talk and laugh :) Enjoy the photos and if you would like me to practice my picture taking on you, please ask!!
